Nah, we don't eat these. [Though at this point that would be a waste. But the flavor's all boiled out of these leaves.] We'll find something else.

[The idea of not eating leaves that have been cooked is both alien and so relieving. No leaves for him! This makes helping out (and breakfast) more appealing.]
