Kiri is a kenku, a Dungeons & Dragons creature, which makes her a mimic. She can only say words and phrases she has heard before, and cannot speak for herself otherwise. Her dialogue is thus 100% either through quotes, or (more rarely) by writing things down.

I'll make this fancy later but basically due to:

-Kiri's mimicry-style dialogue
-her age

I totally get if people might not want to interact with her, especially with the latter in a survival game. So just let me know if you'd rather not get a tag and I'll be chill with it.
